Give your brakes a bold, long-lasting finish. This workshop 6-pack of VHT SP731 – Real Red is formulated for calipers, rotor hats/hubs and drums, delivering a tough coating that resists heat, chips, brake dust and cleaners once cured.

Why this paint

• High-temp rated: up to 900°F / 482°C (intermittent) when properly cured

Use on

• Disc calipers (fixed/sliding)
• Rotor hats / hubs & brake drums
• Brackets and other metal brake hardware (Do not paint friction surfaces such as pads or rotor faces.)

Quick application guide

• Prep: Wire-brush/sand to remove rust & loose paint. Degrease thoroughly. Mask pistons, boots and rotor faces.
• Spray: Shake well. Apply light, even coats from 20–30 cm, allowing a few minutes between coats.
• Cure: Dry, then heat-cure per can directions (on-car heat cycles work). Full chemical resistance after cure. Tip: Several light coats provide better chip resistance than one heavy coat.
